DETAIL ITINERARY

Day 01: Kathmandu to Nagarkot – 35km, Max Alt 2000m

Today, after breakfast we ride to Nagarkot via Shankhu, Kartike Bhanjyang, about 9km uphill on dirt road and rest is flat and down with great village view and mountains. From Nagarkot you will have great panoramic views Himalayas from Ganesh Himal to Everest. Riding time 5 hrs

Day 02:Nagarkot to Balthali Via Dhulikhel and Namobuddha. 55km, Max Alt 2000m

After having breakfast with sunrise view, we ride first 4km uphill to the Nagarkot tower and then descend down to Nala on dirt road and then gradual up and flat to Dhulikhel. Here we will have lunch and then we head to Namobudha; Buddhist cultural sight, where the Lord Buddha in his previous incarnation fed himself to a hungry tigress!. Great views of Himalayan Range from Ganesh Himal to Everest can be seen, then we ride mostly downhill to our secluded mountain resort called Balthali Village Resort. You will have nice view of village vegetation with culture and tradition of their own. Total riding time, 5-6 hrs

Day 03: Balthali – Lakhurebhanjyang – Kathmandu, 45km, Max Alt 2000m

Today we first ride 7km on dirt trail to Panauti; old city with many temples and monuments; Indreswora Temple is one of the most popular there and then we ride about 15km up but gradual to the Lakhure Bhanjyang; bird eye view of Kathmandu valley and mountains can be seen from here.. Small tented camp there; where we will have our lunch and then 7km head to toe downhill to Lubhu, then we ride on paved road to Patan Durbar Square, where we do some sightseeing and then ride back to Kathmandu. Tour ends.
