DETAIL ITINERARY

Day 01: Kathmandu (1350m)to Nagarkot (2000m) via Sankhu (38km with 650m altitude gain)

One who has just few days left of his/her holiday plan, can go for one overnight trip to great hill station of Nagarkot, where you can view panoramic view of Himalayas from east to west from Everest to Ganesh Himal. After an early breakfast in Kathmandu, we ride due east to Sankhu via Bouddha. We will have very less traffic after crossing Boudha and once we reach to Sankhu, we follow a jeep trail mostly uphill to Jarsingpouwa via Lapsiphedi village, beautiful terrain. After Jarsingpouwa, the trails become mostly flat and mixed till Kartike Bhanjyang but from here to our hotel will be uphill about 3 km. O/N Hotel. Meals: -/L/D

Day 02:Nagarkot-Changu Narayan Temple- Thimi (35km) then to Kathmandu

After having breakfast with beautiful sunrise, we start biking on paved road (we have option to go to Nala on dirt trail) till Telkot Danda and we follow a jeep track but off road towards Changu Narayan Temple; one of oldest temple in Kathmandu valley. The trail brings us to Changu Narayan, where Newari artisans carved beautiful stone carvings of lord Vishnu in the sixth century. We continue downhill by winding tarmac road to SanoThimi; known for its pottery and traditional masks. If you like to visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, we ride to Bhaktapur, here you can see one of the oldest Royal Palace, museum and monuments. After lunch, we ride back to Kathmandu via side road behind the airport to Pashupatinath temple. Meals: B/L/-, Hotel your own
