DETAIL ITINERARY

Option 01: Day trip to Tokha and Budhanilkantha – Easy to moderate (30-40km):

Everest Mountain Bike has designed a very simple day tour ride for beginners to the moderate riders in Kathmandu valley. One who likes short ride can just follow up Trisuli Highway (north west) till Teenpiple and then turn right and follow the dirt trails to Dharmasthali village, this ride is mostly via paddy field by the ridge of Shivapuri National Park. Once we reach to the Tokha, you can decided whether to go to Budhanilkantha or ride back to Thamel. Tokha is a old Newari town, popular for its own tradition and culture.

Option 02: Day trip to Bungamati – Moderate (40-50km km)

On this ride, we rake you to the southern side of Kathmandu valley. One who likes long ride, this is perfect tour, which takes us to Bungamati; a very old and trational Newari village especially popular for Rato Machhindranath temple and traditional Newari architecture. Then ride continues south, climbing on jeep track through lush forests to the village of Champi and then it goes to another historic Chapagaon village, where you can see famous Bajra Varahi temple and then we head eastwards which connects Godawari road and we follow it to Patan and then to Thamel. A great long enough ride for a day.
